Soft Skills and Development
These days we hear more and more about soft, transferrable skills. In the past, most of these skills were taught in the home while engaged in day-to-day living. Today, it seems that many of the X, Y, and Z (the New Silent Generation) generations as well as some Baby Boomers can all benefit from soft skill education to grow in business and in life. Soft skills are transferrable in that they are needed in all business environments.
Soft and transferrable skills training and development include:
- Self-Confidence
- Strong Work Ethic
- Positive Attitude
- Good Communication Skills
- Time Management Abilities
- Problem-Solving Skills
- Acting as a Team Player
- Ability to Accept and Learn from Criticism or feedback
- Flexibility/Adaptability
- Working Well Under Pressure
- Hearing and Listening Simultaneously
As the Director of Employee Soft Skills and Development, I can help groups and individuals in or outside a business environment learn and develop their soft skills.
